Life Legacy


Theodore Henry age 64 passed away on September 12th in his home in Dallas.

The life of Theodore Henry began in Cleveland, Ohio on August 21, 1949. Proud parents, Robert and Marie Henry, celebrated the 1st son of nine children.
Throughout his life he was affectionately known as "Sherby, Ted, or Faruq.

Theodore was a product of the Cleveland Public School System. He was employed by Meyer Products as a tow motor operator for 7 yrs.

Shortly after completing High School, he married "the love of his life", Donna Neal (Okolo). To this union were born four children.

Upon leaving Cleveland, the family resided in Pennsylvania/Trenton, New Jersey; there he was employed by KMart from 1988-2008. Theodore then retired to Tampa, FL in 2008 and recently relocated to Dallas, TX in May of this year.

Theodore was a kind, loving and gentle man; one who loved his family and displayed a genuine concern for all mankind. He was a compassionate giver and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for the sake of his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest sibling Bernice,

He leaves to cherish his memory Okolo Talib and his pride and joy, their off-spring: Saran Talib (DiJonnay & Tahj Billings), Kai Talib Evans/ Je'von (Khalil & Nasir Talib), Ya'Qub & McKenzie Talib (Yamil, Jayin, Tayvel Talib) Aqib Talib & Gypsy Benitez (Kiara , Jabril Talib) *grandchildren in ( ). Siblings: Delores Fenney of Birmingham, Alabama, Thomas Henry (Eva), Robert L. Henry III (Joyce), Larry Henry (Vena), Patricia Graves (Reginald), Joseph Henry and Laverne Henry, all of Cleveland, Ohio. A host of nieces, nephews, first cousins, family and friends.

Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, September 16th at Williams Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 17th also at Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow the funeral service at Restland Cemetery in Dallas.
